Connectivity of Rimini to different Airports
Map of airports:
This resort town is located on the shores of Adriatic Sea, in the eastern part of Italy. We have marked all major airports in Italy on the map, and thanks to the superfast and very frequent train service, you can reach Rimini in just a couple hours from any of these airports. This webpage contains detailed information on journey from each of these places.
Rimini’s Central Railway Station is situated in the heart of the city flanked by seaside and the city centre, through which all routes of city and intercity buses pass; more details about how to move around the city is described on the webpage “Public transport”.
Useful links:
Skyscanner - a website, where you can find discount on air fares.
Car Rental: cost comparison - online booking of rental cars, you may get a direct discount of up to 30% by booking online.
Trenitalia - acquaint yourself with Italian train schedule and book your tickets in advance. It is important to know certain things in advance: Trenitalia revises train schedule in first week of June and December every year. And so, you do not see low-fare summer trains in advance, as they are announced just before the revision of train schedule. Upon switching over to summer schedule, only new trains are added, though almost there is no change in the schedule of all other trains. You can conveniently buy tickets at railway stations (at ticket office or vending machines).
Italo - here you can book only superfast trains run by rather a new private company, however their quality of service is much better in comparison with the State-run company Trenitalia.
